Realtek’s Managed PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller Receives ‘Innovative Product Award 2009’ from the Hsinchu Science Park Administration

The RTL8111DP-GR is a high-performance Real-Time Managed PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller solution fully compatible with the Desktop and mobile Architecture for System Hardware (DASH) 1.1 specification. This highly integrated single chip provides versatile features for secure, in-band, out-of-band, and remote management of desktop and mobile systems via web-based tools based on the DASH standard.

The RTL8111DP-GR is composed of a triple-speed Media Access Controller (MAC), PCI-E interface, USB interface, PLDM compatible SMBus, on-chip buffer memory, and integrated physical layer transceiver. A turnkey solution that includes the
RTL8111DP-GR and its related firmware and software is available for easier platform implementation.

Text Console Redirection enables administrators to monitor and manage multiple remote consoles from one location, providing easier remote system maintenance and control. Green power saving features push the technology boundaries to meet the requirements for higher data transmission speeds and longer battery life in mobile and portable devices.
